Daily Show Writer Explains Writers Strike • 11.16.07

The gist:  Media companies don’t want to pay writers for content displayed online, because no one knows how much that’s worth, except that it’s worth $1 billion when Viacom sues YouTube over it. 

Seems easy enough to fix…just give the writers a chunk of that billion…problem solved!
