So in doing the reading of his own audio-book version of “Dreams for my Father”, President Obama read the dialogue of an old classmate friend of his. This guy, Ray, had a colorful manner of speech.

Newsweek has been running a series of articles over the last few days with a lot of behind-the-scenes info from both McCain and Obama camps, and it goes back to the primaries, so there’s some Hilary info too.
It’s long…really long. It’s basically a small book, but it really entertained me.
Just put the stamps on my ballot. I would like to respectfully ask that I don’t hear anything else about the election until Election Day? Then, I would just like to hear the pop of a champagne cork.

I find this especially interesting when I consider that MoveOn started as, essentially, an endorsement of the idea that Bill Clinton’s value as President outweighed what was happening in his personal life. That loyalty does not extend to Hillary, apparently.
The voyeur in me would love to be a fly on the wall in the strategy room at Hillary’s campaign headquarters today. Do you think she regards this as a major defeat, or do you think that she had already written off the more liberal end of the voter spectrum?
