Season five of The Wire started on Sunday night. I like the addition of the newspaper storyline. Still the best show on TV and pretty much a 10 hour long film. Anyone else watching this show?

This modern-day sequel to the iconic 1980’s show stars Justin Bruening (Cold Case), Deanna Russo (The Young and the Restless), Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars), and Bruce Davison (Breach). Will Arnett (Arrested Development) will play the voice of KITT.

Margi and I spent all Sunday morning watching the new Old School Sesame Street DVDs. It may be the best way to spend a lazy snowy weekend day ever. Except for the fact that I now cannot stop humming this.

The gist: Media companies don’t want to pay writers for content displayed online, because no one knows how much that’s worth, except that it’s worth $1 billion when Viacom sues YouTube over it.
Seems easy enough to fix…just give the writers a chunk of that billion…problem solved!
