Audiobook downloads from your library!

Posted in Books, Web on Jul 31, 2008 by David Edwards

I’m sure Portland-west has had this for awhile, but I can’t be bothered to check…

I was at the library the other day and noticed a download station for audiobooks.  Thought that was nifty, so I looked it up on their site today.  Here it is!

Now I need to see if there’s anything good.

Multnomah County libraries use a similar service that also rides on Overdrive’s Windows-only technology.

I’ve gotten conflicting reports on that…it says doesn’t work on ipods, yet then on the compatibility list, it says it is compatible with ipods using mp3 instead of wma. I’ll have to talk to them about it at some point.
