Since we seem to be running a little behind here in culturegeeks-land (for myself, I blame running after a toddler who can crawl faster than I can walk), let’s post something which should have made it up a week and a half ago.

Yep, Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. It’s what’s currently stuck in my head at all times. Let’s hope Clint can get a group singalong without anyone cease and desisting his ass.

I was at the library the other day and noticed a download station for audiobooks.  Thought that was nifty, so I looked it up on their site today.  Here it is!

Now I need to see if there’s anything good.

The new Devendra Banhart video may be the best Bollywood send-up out there. Plus, Natalie Portman (his real life g.f., you know) - who is always more enjoyable when she acts goofy.

Watchmen trailer looks good so far.

My friend Lynda sent me this story, with the comment that if it happened to her, she would:

1) Require a valium drip for at least 2 months
2) Burn the house to the ground
3) Move to Ireland and worship St. Patrick

I would add 4. Never sleep again.

Sign me up, yet again.  Rock Band 2 tracklist.

I’m assuming it’ll work with existing equipment.  I know they’re offering a ridiculously expensive (yet incredibly fucking awesome) drumkit for like $300, but I can’t imagine them trying to get everyone to buy yet another drum/guitar/mic…
