Rock Band on the Radio

My friends at WFMU just announced this:

This Monday morning 2/4 I (Trent) am going to hosting what I THINK will be the first-ever instance of playing Rock Band live on the radio, from 8-9am on WFMU.org.

To continue the video games as spectator sports thread… I can only imagine this being interesting to listen to if they have silly and snarky play by play or color commentary. Otherwise I think it’ll just sound like a bad cover band overlaid with weird bleeping noises.

yeah, I think the only thing that makes rock band in-person acceptable for a non-player is to watch the video-esque background animations. Well, that and the inevitable alcohol…
