Gizmodo actually took Jay’s fabled tv-b-gone to CES and turned off a lot of TVs…

Nice, his works way better than mine did. I had to be within about 15 feet of the t.v., or I had to sight it very carefully at the sensor for one t.v. It may have just been damaged quickly, though, carrying it on my keychain.
And/or, they may have improved it. I think I had rev 1.0, and there’s a 3.0. Maybe it’s time to update.
