Musical Help Needed

This has been bugging me for awhile.  Here’s a Rilo Kiley song off their new album.

Please, please, please tell me what 70s/80s era song the opening riff was inspired/borrowed/stolen from?  If you’ve gone 20 seconds into the video, you’ve gone too far.
