And this is how Windows Live Writer rolls. I’m going to make this a purposefully small post to see if it can handle the taller image better than wordpress itself. All things considered, if you want something fancier than Wordpress, I think this is the way to go, as would be MarsEdit if you’re Mac-inclined.

Note: A few strange things.  It doesn’t handle the image being taller than the post any better than Wordpress, hence this note.  Also, it did something funky with the post time.  It postdated the post, so it wasn’t going to show up for an hour or so.  Nothing that can’t be fixed, and it did remind me to change the timezone of the blog so things show up at the proper time, but it’s a little strange.  Still, I’ll be using it, I think.
